Candy Jar Drawing

The candy jar would have to be the most difficult object to draw so far. Not only is a jar hard to draw but so was the candy inside the jar. For this drawing I used colored pencils. I first started off drawing the jar. After that, I started to draw the candy inside the jar. This was very difficult because the candy was all on top of each other. Also the emptiness of the top of the jar had to be shown. I started coloring the lid of the jar using the value scale. Where the light hit the jar I used lighter colors. I made shadows under the candy on the outside of the jar so they didn't look like they were floating. I really enjoy this art piece and I'm very proud of it
